Newegg is literally trying to sell this router and pair it with anything....
What's next? a GPU?
Actually it's probably Google trying to bundle everything with the router. Google is pretty open about wanting to be in and retain everything about our lives. What better component enables that than a router?
I had google wifi mesh set up at my house. It was good, but I couldn't reach outside very well and the ability to change configs wasn't really there. I'm kind of a power user so I missed the configuration features like multiple SSIDs. Easy to set up though.
Weird combo. For anyone who is unaware, this router can be used in conjunction with Google Wi-Fi. I bought this router when it first came out and it has always been great. It is now the main node in my Google Wi-Fi mesh network with a three pack of Google Wi-Fi access points scattered throughout the house to ensure a strong signal everywhere.
I don't see how this is related, can you elaborate?
I think he's saying, with 5G speeds being very fast via cell towers, you can replace the cable internet to your home. With no cable internet to your home, you won't need a router.
