Units are open box, but are not returns or used, just damaged outer box with scuffs and such.

Is it true that buydig labels these as open box, but in reality they are brand new?

Really wanting to pull the trigger on the Samsung qled. Can anyone shed some light on the significance of not having Dolby vision on these models?

I saved money for 1 year to buy a new KS8000 and the screen went faulty after 2 years, 2 months. I'm never trusting Samsung again.

That's why I went with OLED. Samsung using their own tech when the industry is all Dolby: Atmos, vision, DTS, etc

Same here. I don't live near a Fry's.

Some of these open box prices are close to S@W/EPP/Unidays for new.

When does the EPP store put prior year models on clearance? I'm in no rush but curious if the prices are going to be much lower (55" NU8000 is priced very well on EPP, IMHO).
