EVERY pair of Hokas I've tried are narrow, even sized up a half size to try and "make them work" and still narrow. I've given up on Hokas, if you're going for the cushioning Brooks, Mizuno, most all brands have a model with this feature now. I suggest runningwarehouse.com free shipping and free returns and frequently have sales/clearance. in fact this show on rw right now is @$85 free shipping. I know its $8 more but you can order multiple sizes/models and send back what you don't want FREE.

Bought these on the last deal (unless the one I bought them on 10 days ago is this same deal) and now have to pay return shipping (I'm in Utah and closest store is in Colorado) - shoes are too narrow for me Frown

I had the same issue with the shoes being too narrow. I could return them for free at a local store in Dallas. You might be able to do the same

Best I can tell, nearest store is in Colorado and I'm in Utah. Knew it was a risk to have to pay return shipping, but for almost half the price of normal Hokas I figured it could be worth it. Have you found a different pair of Hokas that is any wider? Or anything comparable and as comfortable as Hokas?

Thanks! I'm in my low 30s and have had issues with my arches (plantar fasciitis). I picked up a pair of Hoka Slip ons sandals (terribly ugly) that are like walking on a cloud- was really hoping to find a shoe from them I could wear out of the house. Thanks for the recommendations and lead on runningwarehouse- will definitely check them out.

What so special about this brand vs Nike or Addias?

Really like the black/grey colorway, wish they were neutral shoes instead of stability. ;d

A lot , these are more of a specialty shoe geared for comfort/correction features for people who over/under pronate while running. Nike just make shoes to blanket a large demographic , Hoka makes shoes for a more niche community with certain accommodations in mind

Very true. These shoes for serious runners. Ultra marathon runners use them a lot. I would buy from runningwarehouse when on sale with similar price but free return shipping

If you have arch troubles in your 30s, you need to get some shoes with less support and walk and excercize your feet in them. Look on YouTube for excersizes. Start with short duration and build up.

I had a similar problem and kept seeking shoes with more support which made my feet feel better, but made the problem worse with time as the extra support further weakened my arches.

Figuring this out after many years changed my feet for the better
They're not perfect yet, but. Moving in the right direction.
