It's a TN, of course.

This going to look bad for normal everyday computing? Email, YouTube, browsing, email. Looking for a 27" for my pops. Should I wait for something that doesn't have a TN panel?

Not sure if this covers all of today's monitors or the improvements made in the panel types in the last few years, but gives an overview of TN vs IPS vs VA.

Can anyone tell me what it's like to go 75Hz, and ia there an appreciable different between 75 and 90? Or maybe even 144? I always see these 75 Hertz ones and I wonder if they're worth it by comparison.

Even going +100hz makes a difference for daily use. Smooth scrolling within web pages make for an enjoyable experience
