5k max tow but all the 3/4 and 1 tons listed in previous post are rated for twice that, or more. Good if you never tow anything that heavy but I'd prefer to have something rated for the vehicle it's put on. Even most of the half tons can safely tow more than 5k. I know it's just a "it will fit" list but yeah.

These hitches were clearanced last year? I put a Reese on my Ranger ($40) it was a PIA. Took 8 hours and a number of phone calls to the manufacturer. Because of the multi vehicle application. On a positive I have a whole bag of nuts and bolts left! Just an FYI

I've wondered how much of a pain these multi-fit receivers are to put on. I bought a higher weight rated receiver for my dually and swapped them out by myself with a couple jack stands and a floor jack in less than 2 hours. Only hardware I had left over was the factory hardware that the new receiver didn't reuse.
