This tbh. Costco has 2 for $13 (3.4A outlets).

Well, I do it all the time. Not replacing the current outlet but adding this next to it with a retro ring. It works great for powering Rokus, FireTV or any other device that uses a wall wart. Behind a TV or powering under Cabinet LEDs. Makes for very clean installs. I use the ones that were on sale earlier in the week as well however they can get crowded.

That makes sense, I can see adding an old-work box next to an existing box.
