Not being a self proclaimed expert, actually audio video is by far my worst shade-tree ability... I have got the pioneer 504... something? 9.2 channel 180W, for close to this price from Fry's. It was purchased to run the downstairs audio 10 8" ceiling speakers (2zones) AND my master bedroom. Well, i forgot when I built the house I only did 5.1 in the master. So, it's "too much" for downstairs (open outputs) so, would this be sufficient? I enjoy the pioneer app so I'd like to keep pioneer. The 9.2 will probably be better suited in my just finished media room and man cave (7.2/5.1 respectively).

I appreciate anyone who has any knowledge (more than I have anyway). And yes, at 40 I'm fortunate/enough to have disposable income, for the snark comments.
