Thanks for the info, no need for the wood stain but definitely going to check out my local Walmart for $1 spray paint on clearance.

I'm using it was the more expensive stuff and not the cheap stuff they have around $1-2 already, correct?

If this is water clean up, it's most likely water based and not solvent based. It only has a 3 year warranty for decks, which is a lot of labor to have to restain in 3 years. There's a reason this is $7. I bought some water based Thompson's masonry water sealer, and it was the worst product ever. But at least it doesn't cause cancer in California. Wink
