It's a damn good game, maybe it's buggy on ps4 but on PC
You are right. It is very buggy on PS4, which is what this post is about. Not on PC, where it costs a lot more.

it's like playing skyrim all over again, except without you know, magic and dragons...
... and without a useful control system, without decent AI and without the ability to play without constant bugs.

Regardless of platform, this a game whose user meta scores are all higher than Pro reviews. To me those are the must buy titles.

I spent the last week playing through this, absolutely loved it. Great, story-driven game. Plays similar to Skyrim if you took out the fantasy elements, with much more difficult, "realistic" battles. I was on PC, only had one bug and some very minor graphical issues. It's no more buggy than any Bethesda release. Highly recommend if this is your type of game.

Great game, I've played the PS4 version, outside of one crash any other minor bugs I've had haven't been gamebreaking. The combat is a lot more difficult, engaging and ultimately enjoyable than Skyrim.

The game is very challenging at first perhaps a bit too challenging, with limited explanation of how some very important mechanics work. However starting with a character that is horrible at everything and and unknown to everyone and building yourself up as you explore the world is highly enjoyable.

So I got this game on PC when it first came out and yes, the reviews are right that it was a buggy mess. I had stopped playing until they fixed it. I returned much later to the game and can say it was a pleasant experience with barely any of the big issues it had at launch.

If you enjoy open world exploration type games like Skyrim as many have said, this may be for you. Bear in mind that the devs made a realistic take on this game so there's less handholding that you see in many games today and less flashy combat. So combat can feel a bit clumsy at first because your dude basically has no fighting experience and sucks at everything. Grit it out through this because as he trains and gets better, combat starts to feel faster and more fluid.

Do you see the PC version listed for this deal? There are differences across platforms and serious bugs have been reported on console versions.

Combat takes some getting used to but it's definitely worth 15 bucks if you're into RPGs.

I hope people make more games with historical settings like this as opposed to Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

Yes, but then for the rest of the game you are forced to stand guard in town and tell other adventurers about your glory days until you took that arrow to the knee.

Great game. Difficult, immersive. Like Skyrim without dragons and magic but with dark souls like difficulty, kinda sorta. Was buggy as all hell when it first released but it's gotten a lot of TLC.
