The Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD models became more widely available today, with better pricing. These are a big upgrade to the Samsung 970 EVO models, and they perform better than the Samsung 970 Pro models on some benchmarks.

The current best prices are at B&H, which has free shipping, and possibly no tax:

$88 for 250GB (MZ-V7S250B/AM [bhphotovideo.com]) -- Currently says "coming soon" and allowing pre-order.
$128 for 500GB (MZ-V7S500B/AM [bhphotovideo.com]) -- in stock
$248 for 1TB (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM [bhphotovideo.com]) -- in stock

Also at Amazon at a higher price:
250GB [amazon.com]
500GB [amazon.com]
1TB [amazon.com]

The official Samsung site for reference:
Samsung SSDs [samsung.com]

It's literally $2 off msrp. If you think this is a "slick deal" I have some beautiful real estate to show you
Actually it is a Slickdeal if you were looking at the regular 970 Evo. This is the same price, or even cheaper in some cases, for a newer version that is faster. The drive selling at MSRP is not a Slickdeal, but the MSRP of the newer, faster drive being cheaper than most everything else on the market is.

Again, no. The slickdeal is when the old non-plus drives are reduced, which we all know will have to happen at a point very near in the future. Full price on new tech is not a slickdeal. Blowout prices on the tech it replaces is.

If they do what intel does ...you'll never see a price reduction

It's a slick deal. I was going to purchase the 970 evo literally hours before I found this post. I got a better deal as of that moment I don't care if this isn't a deal 2 weeks from now because it's a deal now

It's the same people in every thread saying to 'wait'... which is stupid since tech is ALWAYS changing, and there is always going to be better deals in the future. If someone wants to always wait, they'll just never end up getting anything.

I'm pretty sick of seeing the same nonsense on slickdeals.
