I don't really have any evidence to base this on, but I don't like the idea of using an abrasive that deteriorates as you use it. I feel like it's something you'll breath in, dunno if that's bad in this case.
So, I'm guessing that you never use sandpaper. Or an Emory board. Or a grinding wheel. Or....

It's all good. I think generics work for my use cases. For a cleaning business I could see why you would want something more effective, but I get 25x more sponges for 4x the cost. I still might try out one set to compare. Just giving people options.
Thanks. I'm getting a set of these, but will try out those generics too, to compare!

Yeah, you get 3 for a dollar at dollar tree. Or more than you can use on eBay for cheap. It most certainly is a good deal for Mr. Clean brand but is it a good buy? Idk about everyone else on here but I kinda have a shopping adiction. Almost bought it just because of the price. I need help.

The 11-count variety pack at Costco (includes Extra Durable, Kitchen, and Bath sponges) has approximately the same unit price at $6.99 ($3 off until March 3rd) and the sponges will be more durable than these Original ones.

Micro abrasive basically. Very fine sanding action
Right. These are not for surfaces you wouldn't lightly sand....since they are abrasive, they will eventually damage some surfaces.

I guess you never used one.
It actually disintegrates as you use it.
Like an eraser!
So keep using it until it's gone.

Last i ordered like cheap brand 100 from eBay and it does work but it takes 10 or more to do a job that one mr cleaner can do. They just thin and smaller and Cheaply made unfortunately. Not mention you have to throw one and get a new one consistently, waste time. So I will never buy any knockoff one.

I use a regular fine grit sanding sponge with water, very aggressive sponge.

Oh my gosh, had thin black scrape mark on kitchen floor from unknown source. Didn't scrub out with vinegar water yesterday. This post led me to try regular white pencil eraser, a freebie from a community event two summers ago....it works!
Completely erased dark scuff from lino!
Thank you!!! Got new tool at no charge!
