They're very different from one another. Not really comparable. The Traveler guitar is for ultra portability. Something to be able to take with you to noodle around with, jot down ideas, or light practice. It's not a players guitar. Having said that, I really like them for that purpose.

For real acoustic, Taylor! but if you want to extreme portability and with a portable amp, maybe this is fine.

I have one of these and I don't really care for it. The build quality isn't great and the setup is unbelievably bad.

Martin Dreadnought Junior is my choice... But not as portable or cheap as this.

If looking for a decent travel/mini guitar, I recently got the Washburn agm5k. $180 regular price so I got it off eBay when one of those 15% off coupons came out (and also no tax). Laminated top but otherwise pretty decent and easy to take around, I'd recommend taking a look. I'm by no means a guitar expert so Taylor gs mini was overkill for me (also since I'm not a guitar expert, I guess take my recommendations with a few grains of salt!).

I bought a mini guitar for $20 from a local shop in Vietnam. I travelled with it for 3 years. It was great and I really didn't have to worry about it being stolen. But, I suppose maybe this has a a more specific use than what I needed mine for.

Check out the Washburn Rover. Its about the same price but blows the doors off the Martin Backpacker.

Has great action and stays in tune unlike the Backpacker.

This is actually really tempting. Never see these for this cheap. At this price it's reasonable to have something to travel with and practice/play with.
