Can't do basic math? $20.40 / 24 is 85 cents (0.85) per roll.
You will spend 30.40/24 = 1.30 rounded. + tax.

the gift card is just catch, no real value if you forget to spend or gets lost.

Stick with basics.

What? Since when does a gift card have "no real value". Guess what? If you lose cash, it has no real value. 😂 Moron.

Best way to get value from the gift card is to purchase gift card items in one transaction and then immediately use the gift card in another transaction.

i.e. buy paper towels and pay and get gift card - when you pick up in store, use that gift card to get $10 in merch then and there, no chance to lose it.

Also works when you start in store. i.e. if you get laundry detergent and it has a $5 or $10 card, pay for that, get the gift card, then continue ringing up items in a new transaction and use it to reduce that total. I hate gift cards because its extra bulk in your wallet and I do often forget, but this work around is great.

Target is 83 sheets per roll x 24 rolls = 1992 half sheets. ($31.47 - $10 gift card) / 1992 sheets = 0.01077811 cents per sheet

Costco is 160 sheets per roll x 12 rolls = 1920 half sheets. $15.99 / 1920 sheets = 0.00832812 cents per sheet

Costco is a better deal but you have to wait in a long line so it's up to you.
But Costco is not 15.99, its 24$

I forgot to mention that the $15.99 is for the Kirkland branded paper towels. Unless the price increased recently, last time I bought from Costco it was $15.99.

Amazon, Walmart, Target Gift Cards are treated like cash in our household. I even budget it as income in a separate "account". I'm sure Target relies on a percentage of their customers to use mental accounting when it comes to the spending of gift cards. But if you're on slickdeals, you're not one of those customers.

They never offer this with shipping anymore. Used to buy all my household supplies here. But since my closest Target is 35 min from me, it's definitely not worth it. Oh well. I'll just order one small thing at a time with my Red Card and have them ship it for free. Hope it's worth it for them, though I'm guessing it isn't.
I bought 3x 6=18 Rolls for $46.XX (https://www.target.com/p/bounty-s...A-53274278) and they're shipping it free with the $10 gift card. I didn't do the calculation against Costco, but my deal beats Amazon - and that's all I care about

It says store pickup or cartwheel only. When I select shipping, the GC goes away.

They just cancelled my gift card, even though it showed in my cart when placing the order. I selected subscribe and save and did store pickup. Any body else is facing the same issue?

Compared to Costco on sale, these are approx 6% (4% if you have business account) cheaper by square foot and 20% cheaper by per sheet (these are 1.2 inches shorter per sheet).

Awesome comparison

Yeah Target's real value is more like $5, considering all the markup vs Wally or other stores.

I know you're gonna say you don't go to Wally blah blah.

Cash is king buddy.
