what is this nonsense, gc is now worthless? forget to use them? i've never in my life forget to use a gc and i've used hundreds if not thousands of them. i used to write down every number and now i take picture with my mobile. so i've lost a dozen and have had to find the number and then use it online. i still have money on several cards for years ago that don't allow online use and i have no valid card so i'm just waiting for the day they allow online use or allow reloads or allow keypad entry or maybe even a process to ask them to cash me out.

every time i would give away a gc as a gift, i warned the person that if they forget to use, np....i'll use it. because i have the number; you've been warned. Wink

Thoughts on how this compares to Costco?
Costco... as far as the towels go, they're pretty much the same - Costco has more towels per roll - we change rolls less often with the Costco branded.

You will spend 30.40/24 = 1.30 rounded. + tax.

the gift card is just catch, no real value if you forget to spend or gets lost.

Stick with basics.
lol... never lost or forgot to use one.

Church & Dwight is one of several consumer-goods companies, including Procter & GambleCo. , Colgate-Palmolive Co. and Clorox Co. , that have raised prices—or pledged to do so—in response to higher costs of raw materials and transportation, as well as unfavorable foreign-currency swings.

As a result, consumers are being asked to pay more for Pampers and Huggies diapers, Bounty and Viva paper towels, Charmin and Scott toilet papers and Arm & Hammer baking soda, among other products.
ummmm….. okay.

Yeah Target's real value is more like $5, considering all the markup vs Wally or other stores.

I know you're gonna say you don't go to Wally blah blah.

Cash is king buddy.
stick to whatever it is you do know.

83 sheets per roll? And they call these giant rolls? What a scam.

The costco/walmart large rolls are 168 sheets and about $1.33 per roll.

But sir. We have umm changed our manufacturing procedures to be more green friendly, as a result it makes smaller rolls. We are sorry you hate the environment.

Big paper
Ya, no kidding. P&G lines it's pockets on our backs.

FYI you can upload your target gift card to you're target wallet app and throw it out.

No guarantee you won't forget to use it your next visit, but at least it won't get lost.

I have a RedCard so I just put my gift cards in front of the red card in my wallet. No way I can forget.

I'm not seeing the 3x Giant Rolls for $30.39. It is showing up as $31.47 for me. When you add the subscription savings then the price drops to $29.90 + Tax. In my case $32.32 total for 3x 8ct Giant Rolls.

IMHO this is just an OK deal... according to my records. Last Target Bounty deal I took advantage of in early January (1/3/2019) was on the 8ct Huge Rolls w/ $15 GC. This netted an approximately 1.5c / sq.ft cost. This deal is at 2.2c / sq. ft.

i.e. ($37.14 paid for 3x Huge Rolls - $15 Target GC for future use) / (496 sq. ft. * 3) = 1.5c / sq.ft (or 2.5c / sq. ft w/o GC factored)

vs.

this deal which is ($32.32 for 3x Giant Rolls - $10 Target GC for future use) / (299 sq. ft * 3) = 2.5c / sq. ft. (or 3.6c / sq. ft w/o GC factored)

Costco's KS 12 Roll Towels are not as thick as the Bounty but is overall good for the price. Last time I bought them in December it was $18.47 OTD with a unit price of $18.47 / 1026 sq. ft = 1.8c / sq.ft.

So, as I mentioned earlier, this is a good deal overall but not great. My price point is sub 2c / sq. ft.

We goofed and bought full size sheets this time. Sooo much waste with these! Even with smaller rolls and less sheets, they go further for our needs.

I did the same thing a while ago. I actually took them back and replaced them with select a size. It is a pain but they last so much longer.

Not a bad deal, but I'm not sure how this compares to Costco.
Costco is .01557 per square foot. This is .02273 if you think of $10 gc as $10 off the price
