I prefer their original compact tripod. I found the air to be too flimsy or anything other than a compact camera (RX100, S120, Gx7, etc), not great for Mirrorless or DSLR (A6000, G7, 6D, etc). My biggest complaint is the leg locking mechanism takes significant effort over similar compact tripods to get it right so that it doesn't just collapse while you are using it.

100% agree about the leg locking mechanism. Please stay away. Although I love the size of this thing, putting my Fuji XT1 and 16-55 lens on this thing was very scary because I never knew if it would suddenly collapse. I used it for one trip and never again.

Reviews scared me away last time this was posted. I think they're trying to clear their stock as its on "sale" all the time. I instead bought this and have been pretty happy with it so far although for full disclosure I haven't really put it through a trip or anything yet. I paid $40 it's $50 right now.

It's a nice tripod for $30 or should I say, lightweight tiny travel tripod. Wouldn't waste money on it for anymore than that.
Bought it last year during the $30 deals
