People still use this?
I (& probably everyone else) have this preinstalled in my cars.
Even with those 3/6 month free trials, I found myself just using pandora instead.

I use it for a work vehicle. I can also move it to another older vehicle that doesn't have it pre-installed.

There are plenty of people in this country that have cars 15 years old without this on their radio.

Not that we needed it, but I was rather surprised to find out that our entry level 2016 Malibu does NOT have Sirius preinstalled. (we noticed during one of the free trial weeks)

Don't assume everyone drives a brand new car. Not everybody leases. I drive a '94 Explorer. My wife drives a 2010 Honda Accord. I got my wife an add-on Sirius XM receiver for her car. Frankly, I'm happy with my local classic rock stations.

But don't you know getting in debt and showing how cool you are is smarter?

My wife and I were just talking about that the other night. She posed the question "Why do half of the people in the US have no savings at all when they retire?" I pointed out that some people lease vehicles and are constantly making car payments, while I'm now shopping for a new car, after not having made a car payment in 20 years (repair costs were a lot less, thanks to the old rules of GEICO mechanical breakdown coverage with unlimited miles and time, under which my truck was grandfathered in.)

Until SiriusXM starts screwing up Pandora.

Surveys show Sirius is the most popular source in a car. even more than pandora or other streaming services.

This one seems pretty good. Get a free SiriusXM Onyx EZR Satellite Radio Receiver with Vehicle Kit when you buy a $50 SiriusXM Service Card.

Also, there is a 3 months free service offer.

My 12yo car has it. They had it in the same model 15 years ago also. Is that brand new?
