Good deal but free on Either prime or Netflix (I don't remember which one)...kids love it—good series
It's on Netflix, but one thing to always remember is it can be removed at any minute. It's always handy to buy the shows you enjoy when they're on a good deal because some shows can disappear from all streaming sites for years due to contract issues.
It appears that these don't port to movies anywhere (unlike the movies). I hate having to maintain a half-dozen streaming apps, and try to remember which movies/shows I have available on which service when we want to watch something... that said, this is a great show, just trying to weigh the hassle of adding more shows to just one of the half-dozen services we have to maintain.

Race to the Edge was commissioned by Netflix and will never leave the service.
Riders of Berk (first) and Defenders of Berk (second) precede Race to the Edge and were not commissioned by Netflix. They were originally produced for Cartoon Network and are not on Netflix.
You can buy DVD sets for Riders of Berk and Defenders of Berk. While they both come with VUDU digital codes, it is for the SD versions of the episodes. Race to the Edge isn't available anywhere on disc.
TL;DR: if you want Riders of Berk or Defenders of Berk in the best quality (1080p) possible, this is a great deal and cheaper than the DVDs. Owning Race to the Edge is a nice alternative to Netflix if you don't subscribe to the service.
Double dipped and bought the steelbooks for 1 and 2 before the new movie. I really would like a Blu-Ray at least with the code. I'm tempted to purchase all of them but being either or on the services bothers me. I hope we will see MA TV series one day.
Not sure why everyone is saying "great for kids"... this show is great for adults! Really starts to have a game of thrones style to it after awhile with the world building and intricate plotlines. Obviously a kid friendly version but still. Lots of jokes that kids wouldn't get too.
