Install took me and my wife about 6 hours. You NEED two people, as many parts required my wife to hold while I attached. You have to follow the instructions closely and having a powered driver helped a ton. It was fairly easy, and when I bent a pole being an idiot, lifetime shipped me a new one at no charge.

Would you let your child play 5 feet above any surface without supervision? I have wood chips around ours but still would not leave our 3 year old without supervision on it.

I have a different lifetime playset for my kids, and it looks brand new despite being in my yard for 2 years. The only negative is that the rubber coating on the swing chain gets sticky with UV exposure, but it wipes off with degreaser. Everything else is built out of high quality chinese steel.

Install looks much easier than wooden sets..Was it bad?

I also have had this for 3 years now. Looks great still. Took about 5 hours with 2 adults. Highly recommended.

This would go perfect with their octagon climber I picked up during BF.

This concerns me, anyone who bought it, can you comment?
Says the deck is 5' tall, that sounds about similar to pretty much all other playgrounds with clubhouses that I can think of.

THough I also think any playground should have woodchips/etc around it for safety anyways, so I'd put some down no matter what.

I don't have this particular Lifetime model, yes it's powdercoat chinese steel but holds up very well for the price, and at 999 this is a very good deal. I have a wooden Rainbow set and they are crap. Even though hey are the better quality wood sets, they still need periodic maintenance to include re-staining, rotten wood replacement, etc.

If I had the choice to do-over, I would have strictly gone with the Lifetime stuff hands down. Stay away from wood unless you live in a very dry desert envorinment where it does not rot and nothing eats it. I live in Houston if that matters.

Great price!

We have this set as well and highly recommend it. Much less maintanence than wooden options (which we replaced with this set). Note: this is not made to be reversible. We hired an installer to setup and they reversed it for use but this required drilling as the holes are not setup by default to reverse.

This is big. Younger kids (1-4 years) will have a difficult time climbing at first. Definitely meant for older kids or younger kids only with constant supervision and help. After one year with our two year old being supervised on the climbing ladder constantly he is finally ready to do it on his own (and is just barely big enough).
