Integrated graphics ruins a good product for me

I prefer the Lenovo Yoga 730 that is going for $705 on Amazon right now. Its only 256GB M.2 but can be upgraded, has a flip design, an extra Thunderbolt port, touchscreen and is about the same weight. It is also i5 vs this i7 so consider that as well.

At work, I got a thin and light touchscreen laptop that transforms to a tablet. I thought the touchscreen and tablet part were really awesome at first. But now that I've had it for a while, I never use the touchscreen or tablet functions ever. In fact the touchscreen is an annoyance because it will register ghost touches at times.

I bought this over the Dell XPS 13. The Dell deal over the weekend was $925~ shipped for the 9360 model, and the base model Lenovo in this deal was $724~ shipped. Both are aluminum bodied. Very similar specs.

Dell - Slightly thinner bezel and form. Slightly longer battery life. Slightly faster per online research. Dedicated GPU.
Lenovo - Fingerprint reader. USB charging. Bigger, faster hard drive. $200 cheaper.

I think I have this laptop, though with 16gb of RAM. Got it as a warranty replacement for a bottom-of-the-line Yoga.

Odd that the yoga is considered a higher end line - this seemed 99% the same as the Yoga it replaced except the case was more squared off (a good thing since the Yoga was actually sharp to the touch -it was defective, as was its replacement).

I would never recommend a Lenovo to anyone after the hell they put me through (six months, dozens of calls and emails, a laptop repair for a bent chassis that resulted in a "fixed" laptop that looked like it had been vandalized, plus a replacement that was also defective - the bent casing that was sharp) before I got my IdeaPad. I love the IdeaPad though. Fingerprint reader doesn't work for shit but otherwise it's amazing.

Was looking at the Ideapad 730s but the 720s has 2 standard USB ports in addition to USB-C (charging and Thunderbolt 3).

I'm just hoping the screen has decent brightness.

With the reviews of the Yoga 730 being 50% 1 star due to screen issues after a month or two of use and some unit failing immediately. I think I'll stay away from the Yoga series.
