Honestly, these consumer grade vacuums with big names likes SHARK or WHALE or TANK etc seems so appealing. I wasted so much money on them before I turn into commercial vacuums.

If I have to buy one then I would go for something like Oreck XL commercial and call it day off. It does not have all those pretty look, but it will dig the hell out of carpet. Not to mention works better on hard surface than many high grade consumer vacuums. The long lasting life is plus. The cost is way below than deal posted here.

It would take the same time what you've spent typing your comment, and 50c per bag.

Matter of fact less time than dumping trash from bagless vacuums.

But then again, they know lazy asses and sell sh!tt for over $300.

I just read this guys reddit ama and ended getting a bagged vac about two years ago. Still running great but he is right, not as pretty as a dyson. Want the one i one to break so I can get a Miele, but it won't :/

Got a Dyson 18 back in 2011. Looking back $218.xx that I paid then, at Sears, seemed like a lot but it is worth every cent. Still going strong and we have used it on carpet and tile, no complaints, 3-4 times of regular use every week and a heavy continuous use twice a month

Only had ti replaced one part that cost $5 on fleabay, the one that keeps it locked in upright position.

If I have to spend this much on a home vacuum, I would go for a Dyson again, proven tech, works every time and no hassle of replacing bags

Can you link it so everyone can access that deal? That is a good price for a new unit, but the only options I see at that price point is a pre-owned unit.

Do you have an Oreck XL or something else? Any other recommendations apart from Oreck XL? I have a mix of carpet and hardwood (and rugs). Not sure how I want to clean the garage (concrete).

Good to know... I hadn't even considered commercial grade. I have 4 dogs and a dyson... hair gets caught and tangled. When I bought the dyson I thought I was getting the best. We aren't dirty lol we sweep daily but these dogs just shed a lot 😬
Thanks for that info 👌
