How was the RMA process?
i exchanged my first one at microcenter about 5 hours after i bought it. i never had to ship anything back or deal before. having said that, i had to RMA with dell several times in the past and it was always painless. and two times dell sent someone to my home and office to repair the failed product. they showed up with spare parts, did their thing and left. probably the easier RMA process ever.

Better yet just buy it from the exchange store it's only 599.99 even better than the extra 10% from dell directly.
I couldn't find it at the exchange. Can you provide a link?

Just bought one... got about the same price last week on an open box one from amazon and I've been very happy ... looks like I'll be running two of these Smilie

Upgraded from three 24" ultrasharps that were more than 10 years old!

Thanks for the deal, just ordered one! I had previously purchased this one alongside an Acer 37.5" 75hz last year and ended up returning it in favor of USB-C and a more compromising work/game computer (it was also $1200 back then). I loved it but couldn't justify it at the time.

After getting into some FPS games and upgrading from a 1070 to 1080ti, I've been wanting to buy this again and use it purely for gaming and the other one for work.

I'm in the market for a 34 inch wide screen, any reason I should NOT pull the trigger on this one?
Note: I do not have the Amex offer in my offers.

Have seen a lot of reviews with really bad backlight bleed with these monitors.

Not that I can tell. After having an Acer monitor that has USB-C and slightly bigger, I'm still purchasing one of these at this price. The 120hz and g-sync is huge if you're playing games and have an Nvidia card. I played at 75hz Freesync w/ my card (now that Nvidia is semi-compatible with Freesync) and still prefer the smoothness of 120hz.

My only initial reservation was the price (back when it was $1000+) but now that seems to be gone!

I just returned this display twice for flickering backlight when the display was at 120hz. I was trying to replace a VA panel z35p from Acer since it ghosts but the flicker was way more annoying. Totally ruined the display.

That price is for the 25". They don't have the 34" available.

Had one and returned it. Terrible IPS glow. I mean worse than my ancient TN screens. Couldn't stand using it at night. If you get this then buy it local so you can return it if needed. You can get a 65" TV for that much (apples to Orange I know). These should have local dimming at the very least. Also, they shouldn't be advertised as 120Hz. Mine flickered at that frequency from day 1.

Looks like they've increased the price to $899 and now it comes with $100 gift card.
