I'm not sure if this is connected, but I just heard a commercial on the radio about deals at Dell.com for Presidents' Day. Anyone interested in this deal may find something even better in a week.

If the $800 laptop was $700 (at the higher specs) I would get one... mainly the i5s were in this range for BF...

I have this computer. Is crazy fast. Great boot times. I use it to edit photo and video when I'm traveling. Runs super smooth. Renders video fast too. Pretty impressed for a cheaper laptop.

This laptop doesn't make any sense when you can get a slickdeals frontpage 17.3" OverPowered fully loaded laptop, that fits in the body of a 15.6" typical sized laptop. So, not only do you get a larger screen (and it is a whopping 144Hz) but even a relatively thin and light laptop. Specs include 32 GB memory, 256 GB SSD + 2T HDD, GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM, i7 processor, etc. Check the link below and make sure you read its wiki. You could even get a 4-year free warranty (again, read the wiki). It has over 130,000 page views on slickdeals.net and over 800 comments....reflecting its overall popularity as a deal. It previously went frontpage twice (this is its third time), and at that time, it sold out. However, it is now still available.

Price and innovation values are going in the wrong direction. They have been since years before the $1k+ iPhone..

I too have this computer, in red and I've enjoyed it. However, I agree with others: There have been better options with better specs here on this site in recent days. Even better Dells.
