Chain Reaction Cycles has the tacx vortex smart bike trainer on sale for $260 with free shipping. It's a great entry level smart trainer perfect for Zwift. CRC is an UK based store so you might have to buy a power plug adapter, but that should only be a few bucks.

Normal price is closer to $400.

Why the thumbs down? This seems like a good deal and ships free to the US... just would need an adapter. My biggest fear would be how much it would cost to return to the UK if there were issues.

Good deal. And yes you will need the adapter or the US type power cord. It is a good deal but you may run the risk of warranty claims. You may be able to get it serviced by tacx North America division, worth inquiring.

Very good deal. Smart trainer that will connect with zwift and allows resistance control. I've owned one for a little over a year and probably put 3,000 miles on it.

I've also owned this for nearly two years, logging over 6000 miles on Zwift. Zero issues and is still going strong. Great price to get going with a smart/interactive wheel-on trainer for Zwift or any other training platform.

I want to pull the trigger on this but I already have the neo. So tempting.

Last time i looked at tacx you had to buy their crappy overpriced software separately. Is that still the case or can you use it out of the box with zwift?
