The 1st store I went to showed 2 in stock and it had 0. The 2nd store I went to after that showed 6 in stock in it also had 0. I am finding that brickseek Might work half the time. It would be nice if brick seek had there inventory checker working right all the time. It would take the guess work to a new level.

Brickseek inventory is exactly correct to Walmart inventory. Blame Walmart employees who are too lazy to zero out an item they return to vendor.

Same complaint every time.

I really like that this has a storage compartment. I wish all/most tool cases did this. Really sucks when you have the perfect tool to add that goes with it, but have nowhere to put it.

Or to remember to restock from the back. Doubt 6 of these big/heavy got stolen.

Works out for me about 5% of the time so consider yourself extremely lucky. And as the other guy said, they're probably in the back (up high on a shelf I'm guessing) so the real trick is getting somebody who's willing to check for you. That's really where the ymmv thing comes into play.

Yeah, I'm wondering if this was already posted before or maybe a lot of stores never had this kit to begin with.

Seems like a great deal for somebody who is just starting out with tools. Tempted to get this just to toss in the trunk as an upgrade for my emergency kit, but doesn't seem like its worth going out of the way to find given how WM inventory reports around here.

South West Ohio has a lot of limited stock, springfield shows 5 at $19, middletown shows 2 at $20. A few say limited at $14.

Struck out at kildaire in cary, NC. Brickseek said 2 in stock.

You win some, you dim sum.

Might check out another that said limited stock.

Thanks op for posting as I've been eyeing this set. Even at $51, it's a decent price.
