I have had my launch unit since 2014? Still an awesome router, rock solid. Never had any issues.

this has been out 5 years? is it me or do routers not drop in price properly as time goes on? the prices stay high for whatever reason.

I want to get one to replace my AC1900. Anyone knows what's the warranty for this one like?
FYI, it's REFURBISHED.

I bought it for $300 new I think. It was overkill at the time, and now I think you can get a better deal in an RT-AC88U or an RT-AC86U since they both work with AiMesh and this one does not. But if you need dual 5GHz bands (more than 10 5GHz devices, this is a Tri-Band router) this is the router to go with.

sample size is 15 total, hardly representative of the number of folks who've purchased given how many times this has sold out. you'll get a few duds and usually those are the only folks to post a review

not sure if there are clients capable of combining two 5GHz signals, if not
the max speed (per client) of the RT-AC3200 would be 1900 (600 + 1300),
so about the same as the netgear.

I have this AC-3200 router. It was real good when I got it. About 6 months ago or so, the wireless side would restart. My wired devices wouldn't lose connection, just the wireless. In the logs, there weren't any errors, only normal boot messages. Flash forward to today and the whole router reboots on its own. It is really annoying for a $300 router to do this. I've tried at least 5 different ASUS firmware versions. The older ones made the 2.4G channel not work, the newer ones make it reboot occasionally. As a parent, I really like the individual device schedule control that ASUS provides. My friend has the 3100 and says it has been rock solid for him. I would not recommend this AC-3200 router.
