Once signed up, navigate to Account > cancel subscription.

Once there they will offer 2 more months free.

Enjoy and don't forget to cancel before trial runs out.

FYI: Just checked my account and, 12 hours later, it's showing next billing date as April 12(was May 12). I went ahead and submitted for cancellation.

You can use the code with older accounts and get 1 Month Free, but canceling will not get you the 2 Months Free offer. It will only get you 50% off 2 Months.

Creating a completely new account gave me the 2 Months Free Offer.

The May 12 date is a website display bug. Relog and you will see the real date in their database. This was my support ticket from last year's deal when I was bingeing Star Trek:

Quote :
Thank you for contacting CBS All Access, we apologize for any inconvenience. We understand how frustrating this can be and would like to get your issue resolved as quickly as possible. We have reviewed your subscription and see that you started your free 30 day trial on 04/10/2018 with coupon code "spring". On the same day, you cancelled the subscription and was prompted with a new one month free offer which you accepted. The cancel coupon you accepted on 04/10/2018, replaced the coupon you initially signed up with. This gave you 04/10/2018-05/09/2018 as a free month in lieu of cancelling. Since we didn't receive a new cancellation request prior to 05/10/2018, you subscription continued and you were charged on 05/10/2018.

Unfortunately, per our billing policy, we cannot grant refunds for CBS All Access subscriptions.
When I threatened a charge back on my credit card because I am not responsible for inconsistencies between their website and their database, they gave me a one time courtesy refund:

Quote :
Thank you for your response. A member of our management team has reviewed your request. We were able to grant a One Time Courtesy refund for the most recent charge to your credit card. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the transaction.

Holy cow. This service is $9.99 per month for a single network subscription? How are they justifying this price?

Cancelling subscription only offered me 50% off 2 months. This deal is YMMV, although one month free worked.

Discovery season 2 runs 14 episodes, not 6. There's a lot left.

Does this work for the "commercial free" plan or just the limited commercials plan?

Still relating episodes. They might be finished before this three month term is up.

I went through the VerizonUP app to claim the reward(free 1 month). I handled registration through the app, then received the retention deal(+2 months) when I tried to cancel.

The more interest one shows in walled garden streaming the less likely companies will reverse their plans.

Love the roll your own (legal) approaches when it comes to digital media but I cannot justify buying per product or network.

Besides, CBS did mention Star Trek would be available for regular streaming after Season 1 but that does not yet seem to be happening.

Just my opinion.

Need to sign up for a new account, or can we take advantage of the deal if we already created an account from a previous trial?
