I've been looking at similar 27 gallon totes at Sam's Club ($7.98 each) and Menards ($7.49 each on sale this week), so $5.99 looks to be a good deal...can anyone attest to their quality before I buy a bunch?

I've bought them from Costco, Sam's, Home Depot, Office Depot.
They are all pretty much the same. I think the Costco ones are generally a little thicker material, and they occasionally come down to the $6 price point.

Just picked up 20. Quality IMO is much better than home Depot HDX brand. Tops snap in place too. Stacks very well.

Make sure they hand you totes that are actually from Greenmade. I ordered these last time and they gave me ones from HDX; the quality was shoddy and the sharp edges were hazards.

Got last time, they're good to go. I'd say quality on par with same style ones from thd. Last instore they gave me a free one without the lid, so maybe they'll give me a free lid this time

Another question...I'm just full of them today...

Are these the style/type that it is recommended you cut off the "snap" or whatever qualifies as a locking mechanism on these things because the "snap" tends to break the edges of the tote where they snap together? I know, defeats the purpose of the locking mechanism but would rather not break the tote snapping the lid on it...
