I got the Odyssey+ on black Friday for $300. It is the bomb! You cannot identify pixels unless you look hard for it. I use it more than my Oculus. This one is the last year's model but at this price I can recommend it.

I recall during Xmas or Thanksgiving there was a Lenovo MR headset for around $100? Is this that much better?

Not really a better resolution (slightly taller, doesn't really make a difference) but this one has AMOLED, which makes the colors and blacks better. It also has built in audio and better comfort.

That didn't include controllers, and yes this is better.

FYI: This model doesn't have the anti-SDE filter the new model has, so it will won't look as good, but still one of the best displays on the market.

What are people doing with this? Serious question. Looks interesting but I'm not sure what is out there for this specific headset. Also wondering what PC people are using to run it.

I have a 1070 laptop. VR is magical! There's this cool boxing game I'm currently playing called CREED. You stand in front of a burly guy and throw punches at him. It is much better than mashing buttons on a controller.

Are their better headsets scheduled to be released in the next few months? Reviews say this could be the best one out there right now...

This is a Windows Mixed Reality VR headset. It does the same thing as the Oculus or Vive. You can play Vive and Oculus games on it after a little setup. You can also play SteamVR games on it. It also has a "home" of sorts where you can run your Windows environment in VR, watch 360 VR movies and videos, launch WMR games and use WMR apps from the Windows store. I actually purchased a "refurbished" one just last week and have been using it to play Elite Dangerous. I have watched some 360 videos and palyes some various SteamVR games. It works great. Controllers are great as long as they don't go behind you.

I have an oculus with 3 sensors and love it, currently upgrading a budget computer for a friend to handle VR as well and this would have been perfect. OOS when added to cart.
