Let me start saying that this is repost of two threads(Target deal thread & Verizon deal thread ) combined . But posting again as promo stacking information is part of comments and not many people notice it or alerted .

https://shopmobile.target.com/sit...ductId=211

Pixel 3 XL is also available under same promo combination ..

This deal is available until Saturday only . Also, target carries 64gb version only in black and not pink . White is not an option .

link to previous year deal for pixel 2 confirms most people got credits . Very few exceptions though who had issues .

I read through page 5 and these were the only good comments. Please add helpful information here:
We need to know:

1)Are the VZ and Target offers are stackable.

2) Can you bring the phone back to Target and apply the GC to the receipt for a quick return, buy back.

Guys, when I checked with the Verizon online chat representative, I was told that the $300 bill credit offer is applicable only when purchasing on Verizon website and not when purchasing on Target. Can anyone else confirm if the offer is stackable? See attachment

I just chatted live with them a couple of minutes ago, and was told the exact same thing that the discount does not stack with the $300 gift card from Target.

Going to go ahead and ask now since it will be asked many times:
Can I just buy the phone for the discounted price, pay it off in full, receive the discount, and then cancel the line?
Quote :
I would say that since the OP clearly mentions bill credits from Verizon, then a big NO. You will not get the $300 from Vzw if you pay it off in full.

So it's still $799 out of pocket, right?

It's tax plus what ever down payment you put down on the phone. The rest is billed monthly, minus the bill credits. You can pay off everything and leave 300 on the phone so the monthly bill for the phone is 0.

The bill credits are split monthly over 2 years and are lost if you pay the phone off early

You will loose bill credits . Let's say you cancelled after 2 months . Then the discount would be $300 target gift card and $25(2x12.5) Verizon bill credit . Remaining has be paid to Verizon before canceling

Applicable for Verizon existing customers for Upgrade?
Update: nm. I checked. However it shows ineligible may be because of one line that is financed but other line should be!

Did not understand . Yes. Both upgrades and new lines for existing customers are eligible .

Just a heads up that the Verizon version of this phone cannot be rooted as they do not allow the bootloader unlock. Try to buy the non Verizon version if possible. No root is a huge deal for most people
bullcrap, "no root" is hardly an issue for "most people"...

Correct . I really like ad blocking on rooted phone . Always on vpn is also another thing I like. Themes are ok. But always brings up another concern regarding security . It's really hard to trust developers now a days to have their apps on a phone that I do banking , stock investing etc .
