Verizon should give customers the option of a lower bill (by the value of the Netflix) without the Netflix!

Really which this would come to South Florida.

Comcast trying to charge me $750 a month for 100/100 fiber because I have to pay for the construction costs.

F that stuck with cable. 😩

Recently I did gigabit connection for 79.99 including taxes and equipment. Contract free. 1 year netflix premium. $50 gift card. No router rental for 3 years.

I thought that is better deal than this if speed is your need.

Just switched to FIOS after using Comcast a few years. I have an internet only plan, and wanted to let everyone know I just said in the online form that I have my own router (it wanted a specific model, which I do NOT have), but it made no difference -- when the ONT was plugged into my existing (non-supported) router, it instantly worked. I think this is common knowledge, but doesn't hurt to repeat it.

I actually just did this I had 52 days left on my contract - canceled for $20 and got this deal. They said they could only schedule the install for 4 days out. however I own my router and had the Ethernet ran from the ont to my router a year ago for the speed increase. so after a few hours I rebooted my router and everything was working on the old router with the new service. she also slated me for self install

Yes. I've been direct connected to the ONT using an AirPort Extreme for almost 10 years. PERFECT. Bulletproof.
I do this as well. I do think I need an extender or something. Do you think if I splice this cable going from the onto to the airport extreme and put a switch in that it would still work?

or does it need to be a direct wire from the ont to the router?

I don't know if I've had a weird experience then. I had 100/100 for $40 and when I looked at upgrading they gave me 300/300 for $45 a month. That being said, I think these deal isn't a fantastic price for 300/300 since I'm paying $15 less per month. I'd say keep an eye out for other random promotions they have for plans or upgrading. (I think I caught a random promotion whenever I upgraded)
Are you sure not $45 more?
