I have an old Roomba 650. The spinning brushes have broke (after replacing), the interior brush always gets tangled. In general, have been disappointed with it lately, but have had it for almost 5 years now so its done well. Really considering this. My only holdback is it doesnt have a virtual wall. We need to leave our bedroom door open while we are gone, and there are things in there that our roomba always gets stuck on.

Really considering this. Been in the market for a robot vac,but most (with mapping) are crazy expensive. This would seem to be good for just letting loose and allowing it to clean wherever?

You can use anything to block it. I use a cat scratcher. A pair of shoes would be enough to get it to turn around.

Got this as a Christmas present from my MIL. It's okay as a spot sweeper, but it misses a lot. Glad I didn't pay for it.

I would never suggest getting a dumb robot without mapping unless you are having it clean like a 10x10 empty room

I have a deebot and not a 10x10 room and it does a good job as long as I don't leave cords on the floor

It seems like such a waste without mapping. I had a roomba. It took 45 minutes for it to get in the one corner of my room and it made one strip, hit the wall and left. Missed 90% of the corner. Bought a neato and after that I will never suggest a dumb robot vacuum to anyone

Saw this in action at a relatives. Sounds like it has enough suction to get hair, But the tiny little fan I bet doesn't get much else except maybe some dust on top of the carpet. Dirt? Heck no it ain't sucking any of that up. Them two flippy things spinning in the front look totally useless except for kicking up some dust before it can vacuum it up. Man them things are dumb. Swishy swishy bzzzzzz. Then I watched it try to clean a room. It was akin to chucking a superball in a house. All over the place, so I wager there are continuously missed spots. Just buy a neato that actually sucks up dirt and knows what it's doing.

I don't have this model, but I have one of the "dumb" robo vac's and it honestly depends on what you need it for. I have cage free bunnies so it's a god send for me, and while it's not perfect it does pick up a lot more than I previously thought.

Is it perfect? No, it won't replace your stand up vac, but it's a good way to spot clean.

I have a dumb vacuum. I bought it last Thanksgiving at the same price point. It's a black and Decker. Has a very large bin, Lithonia ion battery, and good suction. It picks up a lot of dirt from my carpets. I love it so far. Reduces my frequency of a full vacuum
