Great inverter generator. Do not hesitate to buy at this price. Have this exact model since October, 2017 - paid $930. Powers an off the grid cabin using only propane option. Clock is over 1100 hrs. Check/change oil per the PM schedule. It's been flawless. Charges batteries and runs power equipment with no issues. Tempted to get another.

This place is local to me and is where i got my generator for $350. The site says $525 but if you call them they are $350. Thats what they post them locally. Say you saw it for $350.

They are refurbished but that doesnt mean they are used. One i got had zero hours on it.
Basically if a customer buys it and returns it to the store, the units get shipped to this location and are looked over, any missing part replaced and tested.

They are legit and they ship free to anywhere in the US. (i do not work for them, just sharing the deal for all to enjoy)
I used mine twice with propane so far and works amazing.

I wonder how well this would work for emergency charging an electric car like a Chevy Spark EV

It'd probably work just like plugging it into the a regular outlet in your garage. So it'd take awhile and a fair amount of gas/propane but it'd work.

This got me through hurricanes Irma and Michael. I was able to get more propane the day after the storm...days before gasoline flowed again. I paid nearly $1000, too!

Most of these inverter generators have what is called a floating neutral. There are videos how to make an adapter to bond neutral and ground to make it so your 120v charge cable can actually charge the vehicle. My pulsar 2000w saved me a tow, a rest stop that was supposed to have a charger outlet didn't and after 4 hours of running the generator I made it the 10 miles up the freeway to the next DC charge station

good to know!
one of my teenage kids just needs an "around town" car. I hate putting them in a gasser, because the car never gets a chance to warm up. On the current car, by the time I change the oil, it reeks of gasoline.
I'm intrigued enough by electrics, and I found a Spark EV locally for sale at a reasonable price. Seriously considering buying it, but want to have a backup/rescue plan that will allow me to charge the car just enough to get home in the event that they run it out of juice. long term I think it would be fun to drop the drivetrain into a fiero chassis. bulb
