Amazon [amazon.com] dropped their price to $49.99 as of 2/18 according to Camel, if you'd like to see reviews there.

Also recommend the charging case accessory [amazon.com] if it's in the budget or you find it on sale.

I had two of these. Sweat or rain killed them both. I can't find a better brand so I stick with them. My latest one is a newer 5200 series. It had the same model number but has a cover over the charging port.

Soundwise I believe the model here to be a little better. Charger is proprietary but it is easy to use.

I have this. It's rather dorky looking in this age of much sleeker headsets but its noise cancellation for the caller on the other end is unmatched.

I've used this headset in a noisy starbucks and people could hardly make out the noises in the background. Listeners commented it wasn't perfectly quiet when I didn't speak but when I did speak, they only heard me. Pairing is easy/quick and quite reliable.

The downside is that since it's mono and the open ear bud doesn't 'nest' in your ear canal, it's not as loud as I would like it.

I've had one for 6 years now and the battery is finally starting to wear down. I use it daily and over the years it's gone from 7 hours to about 2 before recharge. In for a new one with the Google discount code, around $35 shipped, can't beat that!

So you wouldn't recommend this for gym use then?

I would not recommend unless noise cancelling for the listener to your call is critical. It sits on your ear and is prone to bouncing around with quick movement.

I believe this is meant more for business use, making calls on your phone or your computer. Usually for Confrence call hell I think.

I've head good things in that scenario.

Great price! I use it daily on the road for work and highly recommend it. Only downside is the stupid charger. I bought a protective case on Amazon that works as a battery and charger as well and it's great.

EDIT: Google deal is sold out.

YMMV - I was able to place an order through Amazon for $49 and they credited the difference back to my card.

Just a heads up that it's $10 more ($49.99) there. There's a mention in the Wiki for it Smilie
