When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I can so relate on the wrappers around the house!

Leave a dishtowel by the sink for him to dry his hands. Teach him!!
Quote from Nikayla :
I was just cursing DH under my breath a minute ago as I was throwing his scrunched up paper towels out (& picking up after the kids, fruit snack wrappers everywhere), there were at least 6 that I found. I guess at least he washes his hands each time he comes in from outside but still.... why can't he thow them out?!?!
Only 6????

Quote from sungoddess7 :
I have tried that to no avail!! DH is obsessive about using the paper towels over the dish towel!! He's the same with leaving scrunched up paper towels everywhere.
Quote from hawaiiandawn :
Apparently its a helluva a hike to the trash can in my house.
Quote from sungoddess7 :
laugh out loud So funny! DH does at least mop up his spills, but he uses the paper towels instead of the sponges/wash cloths. Crazy DH's!! laugh out loud
Ladies - you don't understand - men train all their lives to ball up the perfect paper towel wad - usually they also train to drop it in the most conspicuous (sp?) location too - unwiped spills, carefully (or not) distributed (or piled up) wrappers and tiny (or large) crumbs on any flat surface are lifelong skills that are perfected from childhood! Give credit where credit is due - if they are peeing on the floor AND simultaneously splashing on the seat they have succeeded in life!! At least this is what my 15-yr-old son has led me to believe - he is going to be a gold medal wrapper leaver!! OMG

Quote from sbhiggins :

OMG, laugh out loud You just totally ruined one of my favorite childhood memories!! I heart that book as a little one. shake head

Doesn't T have a GC deal for the Ipod this week? Other than that, (or other deals like it) there aren't many "discounts" for the iPod unless you are (or know someone who is) a student or who otherwise can get the educational discount.
Sorry.... don't know why that is the first thing that popped into my head - I guess better there than... never mind....................

I saw the giftcard thing - and actually forgot Doh about that electronics Q! Thanks for the reminder! I think you're all right, there really aren't any real discounts out there, might have to see what kind of T giftcards I can scrounge up for a "downpayment" on one Sly.

I think the new packaging for the entire line of Pepsi is very unappealing!
It's almost as bad as the new pop secret packaging... almost...
Quote from sungoddess7 :
My mom cloth diapered all three of us. She tells me all of the time I should do it for DD. And, she uses the newspapers for the cleaning of the windows. She also uses a vinegar water mix as the window cleaner. She says she learned it from her mom who had learned it from her mother. They were really poor and so used what they had around the house to make do
If it wasn't for all this free/MM cleaning products I have, I'd definitely be using newspaper like this and making my own cleaning supplies. I was so inspired by watching "How Clean is Your House?" on BBCAmerica! That show is one of my guilty pleasures - always makes me feel better about my own place!!
Quote from hawaiiandawn :
Very true, Thrifty. All of the new packaging doesn't speak to me either. I think they were going for a "green, fresh" look with SM. Guess they didn't run that new packaging by any consumer groups. Ahhh, budget cuts. laugh out loud

Awww.....Baby I still say certain words now that way my kids did when they were little. Like poll nailish. laugh out loud

Anyone with no kids at home (or am I the only one here? laugh out loud) still make an Easter basket for their spouse? I am debating.....
I make one for DBF - wish he'd make one for me too Annoyed

On a side note, cleaning with newspapers is cool. I hate that my kids' schools don't recycle. Do you know how much paper they go through there? My 3 older boys go to 3 different schools. I'd love to bring it up, but scared of the backlash..like "Well go ahead and do it". I dont have that kind of time.
They should be setting a better example for the kids - have a recycling bin for at least paper in every classroom and especially in the copy room and offices. The local college here does composting in at least one of its eateries - a student worker stands at the bin helping people figure out what goes in laugh out loud

Sungoddess - I saw on an endcap in the toy section a bunch of cute little wooden puzzles for 3.99 each, if you're still looking for basket items... unless the eggs you're filling are ostrich eggs Roll

wave My ears were ringing...DS7 is a SHE. And I'm not genius.....I don't even know how to read all these codes and match them to coupons...but if someone wants to be my tutor, feel free. I really only use the "000" coupons that say on "ANY" product because those are pretty self explanatory and safe. Most stuff beyond that is over my head. My toddler sucked my brains right out during pregnancy and I've never gotten them backEmbarrassment

Yep - we got a Playskool clippo table for xmas. I saw the peelie residue on it and could only hope that they used the peelie when buying it.

Nah these are the people that shop my garage sale swag. So they are getting it 1/2 of retail.

OK, just looked at the ad for next week and I have a question for you kid book peeps - that book "pat the bunny", is that anything like "spank the monkey"? Just wondering.
I vaguely remember that book from when I was younger. Someone gave it to us when our first was born. Holy cow - that is a weird, odd book. Kinda creepy OMG

Of course this was during the time of the HW/PS/Ponds so you can bet we were going to do some sticker stealing.
Totally reminded me - guess what I found on my run this evening - HW peelies!!! Can you believe that one of my stores is still putting PB out with those peelies?!? OMG

EEK! 1 bag of trash a week! HTH do you this? You would hate me. We dump a bag a day! You ought to get a refund back from your garbage service.
One bag here, and mandatory recycling with the garbage co. If we don't recycle we get charged more.

I cheat though.....I have a nice big campfire pit outside. We burn a lot of garbage.

My youngest always asked Daddy if he was going to "lawn the mow".

On another note, who can tell me the best place to get a 32GB iPod Touch? Any thoughts out there??
The education discount is minimal in iPods. I do get the education discount...but they are still $399.00

Refurbished 32g iPods are listed on Apple's web site right now.
1st generation - $279.00
Current generation - $349.00
I'm a Apple store regular, and always buy refurbished if it's available. Same warranty as new, can't really go wrong. HTH

There is a dish towel close to the sink he prefers paper towels I guess. Good thing for that Viva Q now they just need to put out another!

Same here! You forgot one, the nose wipe. Maybe he isn't big enough yet but just the other day DH ask what was on my shirt and it was a nice crusty little green booger! His first time using me as his kleenex, he was rooting & snorting about a hour earlier he was so hungry.

Have you seen those Peepee Teepee's? I saw them on Brothers & Sisters laugh out loud

Thanks for that bit of info - I wondered about the refurb models when I saw them out there tonight. Need to get one for my DS. Ok, don't "need" to, but he wanted it for Christmas and his dad didn't really think he needed one that large, it's a milestone birthday next month so I figure, ah, what the heck. Thanks for the refurb tip.

I got one for my oldest DS for Xmas. But not the 32gig. He's 15, got him the 8gig and he's more than pleased. But after a few months I can see where I might have chosen the 16gig. He does have to trade stuff out quite often cuz' he has sooo many apps.
