Oh, and I did our taxes the other day. (Didn't submit yet though. I read somewhere it's better to wait to submit until almost the deadline. People who submit early are more likely to get audited since the IRS has fewer returns to deal with, so can spend more time on each one. Probably not true, but a good excuse to procrastinate.
We always owe $$ b/c my job is considered a "2nd income" and therefore gets taxes to high heaven.

I'd suggest going to a garden store and picking up a few herbs and putting them in small pots on your window sill - we're going to end up doing that too anyways

But sounds like one of the handful of people out there that are using the poor economic climate to try to "teach" people how to coupon and save money, of course for a small fee. I think rule one in those classes should be "Don't pay anyone for something you can learn for free"
Anyway, more power to them if they're talking about basic legitimate coupon use, but if they start straying into gray areas, you could end up creating noob S&G'ers like we sometimes see on here.

Yeah - she teaches "couponing" but we do MUCH better.
By the way, I just learned that my dreamy Kyle Chandler (see avi) lived here as a child too - Chicagoland is good for something other than snow and cold, I guess!!! LOL!
