403 forbidden visiting the site via TorGuard

148 39 February 20, 2019 at 08:03 AM
I just noticed today I get a 403 forbidden response trying to access Slickdeals on my desktop via VPN. Is there any way to work around this without disabling the VPN? I found some old posts suggesting there was a temporary ban on some IP ranges due to attacks, but that thread died sometime in 2017.

I know this is almost a year old but I just purchased TorGuard that was listed as a deal. I installed it and later tried to access Slickdeals.net and I get this same 403 forbidden issue. Why are you recommending it as both a popular deal and front page deal and taking the referrals and then blocking those same people that use it?
