There's a lot of misinformation here.

First- Citi explcitly stacks after square trade

it says so in the written terms of the benefit.

Second- if you buy from Costco it works like this:

Year 1- MFG warranty covers you
Year 2- Costco concierge covers you
Years 3-5: Square Trade covers you
Years 6-7: Citi covers you, per their own terms, which state their coverage begins after ALL OTHER COVERAGE INCLUDING EXTENDED WARRANTIES FROM OTHERS.

If you don't buy the TV from Costco (but do buy the warranty, and use a citi card to buy the TV) then all of the above moves forward one year (since no concierge coverage) you'd have 6 total years of warranty instead of 7.

In case you're unclear on this you can read it here-

With the ST credit it is roughly the same as other offers. Thanks OP!

Google Express c8 $1899 (no tax in CA) was the best offer so far (and yes I got from it)

But it's better because it's Costco with a 90-day "no questions" return period and the combination of Costco warranty and three-year Square Trade. Downside is $60 membership if you're not normally a Costco member.

Lowest price shipped (before any possible tax) is $1800 from P.C. Richard that is still going on now.

For purposes of Citi price rewind, is this model the same as other deals? Costco website says OLED65C8, not OLED65C8PUA or AUA.

To me this might be the best deal because it includes 90-day return and 5-year warranty. Downside is $135.10 FL tax (Costco.com says "$100 off" not "$100 GC" so I infer the tax is on $1929.98).

From what I could tell in the other thread, PC Richard price of $1800 (no FL tax) is _no_ returns.

So which is better, $1800 no returns or $2065.08 w/5yr warranty? I'd probably want to pay $200 extra for the return privilege. Though a week from now, we may be laughing at these prices. Smilie

Absolutely, but if there is a BIG price drop, we can just return to a Costco warehouse.

Any idea if this price is valid in-store as well? Costco charges shipping for their online purchases.

I just checked with a buddy of mine that works at costco and price is the same in the store. I asked because I know sometimes in the store is cheaper than online usually.

I also heard if you use the citi costco card they will give you up to 7 years on the Squaretrade warranty. (not sure if its true or not especially with the burn in issue of OLEDs) Maybe someone can chime in on this...
