I bought one of these kits 2 weeks ago, it looks like a quality kit. Just assembled it and everything fit perfect. Got the free shipping and free assembly went with a longer free float. Seems well worth the money.

The website description says Material: 4150 Heat Treated Steel, I doubt they make their own barrels, cold hammer forging from what I understand tends to be not as accurate. Having said that for $279 I am not expecting a sniper rifle, just a good kit to mount on an 80% lower.

I got a kit last month. Would only shoot twice before failing to feed. Local gunsmith trouble shot it, it was the upgraded Nickel Boron BCG I went with. He stuck a regular black one in and it worked fine. Getting them to RMA it has been a pain in the butt, over a week process now.
