1949 and tax free for many at buydig via ebay, just search SD for the post.

Prices continue to drop fast to make room for 2019 models. If I remember correctly, the best deals will be found in club over the next week or so.

There is no sammy equivalent to an OLED. Samsungs Q9FN comes the closest, but costco doesnt carry that model line.

No, it's not anywhere close to OLED.

Just the price should tell you. a 77" LG OLD is around $5000 on sale. This 82" is half that price.

If you have a costco near you, just stop by and look at the two, you will see the OLED has much better color and can be viewed at any angle. Just about all the rest have color wash out at an angle. The main concern about OLED is burn in which to me seems hard to get, but you can read up about it on Google.

from google:
While LG's OLED and Samsung's QLED may sound very similar, there are major differences at the core level. OLED, which stands for "organic light emitting diodes," is the top choice for most people. ... On the other hand, QLED stands for "Quantum Dot LED," and can be compared to an LCD TV because it uses a backlight.

QLED is different technology, inferior to OLED. There is no Samsung equivalent.

I beg to differ after seeing the new q90r which was simply stunning (but way too expensive)

If you think every tv looks the same with their digital signal, you should probably keep walking past the TVs to the Optical counter.

...or just buy the cheapest one. If you are happy with a 4-series TCL you'll save a crap ton of money
