These Dell Inspirons use low end IPS panels like in the Lenovo Ideapad 330S I bought before. If you're used to TN, then any IPS panel will look great, and it'll be good for most people out there. However these are not as bright and don't have as wide of color gamut as their Latitude panels. When I go from a 300 nit / 72% sRGB to 250 nit / 50% sRGB, I can tell the difference immediately. This shouldn't be a showstopper for most people but just be aware of this issue.

certain amex cards have offer of 10% statement credit on dell purchase.

if you click the offer thru amex, it defaults to a work cart.
so my steps: add the laptop and code into cart first via the SD link, click thru via amex offer,
choose the home cart and check out.

i got an email that my purchase qualified for the dell 10% statement credit.

This is actually a solid deal. Checks most boxes for non-gaming general users.

wish these Inspirons have the same keyboard as their Latitude line.
