I got this a little bit ago from Office Depot.. same price, same machine.

So far so good, got a 512 NVMe drive and 16GB of RAM and the machine is humming.

The 1TB SSHD is trash, but great for storage as a 2nd drive. On mine the 8GB RAM was 2 sticks (boo).

This listing doesn't mention Thunderbolt 3.. but mine came with a Thunderbolt 3 port, I assume this would as well.

Standard 2.5 HDD slot (I guess) where the stock 1TB SSHD is installed, and a NVMe slot. I swear in the boot settings it showed another SSD slot, but I didn't see any room when I opened it up. I'd guess just the two.

I have Windows 10 running on the NVMe drive now. I created a Windows restore USB stick first, and then used that to install on the new drive once installed.

Took me a while to figure out how to get it to boot to the right drive in the BIOS, but eventually figured it out. No issues since.

I am using it for work primarily, not gaming, but I like the options this laptop provides.

I have 1 display running off HDMI and another off the USB C/Thunderbolt port without issue (3 total displays including the laptop screen).

With the stock 8GB of RAM I was always hovering around 7 in use. Since upgrading to 16GB it hovers around 10.5. Runs like a dream now.

Someone had said the WiFi card isn't very good (and maybe it isn't?) but I haven't had any drops and tested 200M/200M on my home connection (to the internet not internal network).

Hope that helps. This is my first new PC in a while and it performs as I had hoped. the i5 "H" CPU really seems to do good work finally having HyperThreading.

Mixed bag but 1060 6gb at this price seems pretty decent.

What slots does it have for HDD? Do you have the OS running on the NVMe drive without issue?

Thats great man!! I am just wanting to buy it at Office Depot, do you recommend? Do you have to pay "Sales Tax" (arround $50)? I am really wanting to enjoy this deal on a 1060 6gb laptop, but I never buy at OfficeDepot, so I am asking because you bought. Thank you.
