Activated new line on TF (AT&T sim) on 6th & have heard nothing since. Activated another on TF (Verizon) a few days later using my 2nd pkg & nothing on that one either.
Amazon is still running you around?

They stopped responding but that might be just the weekend. Will see what happens tomorrow, I'm not going to let it go.

It would be stupid to let it go. The product is listed on the AMZ site as sold by Amazon services (not Tracfone) so not honoring the promo is false advertising as long as I met the requirements - which I did.

Received my $25 automatically applied to amazon account. I activated the sim card with the serial number that showed on my orders page on Amazon. In my case, it was the at&t sim.

I think that is what the issue is. There are multiple sim cards in each package. The Amazon employee scans one of them randomly when they ship out your package. If you don't activate that one, might not trigger the $25 credit.

I activated on Tues March 12th, and received the credit this past thursday i think. So about 12 days

Yes, the S/N in my Amazon order confirm matches the SIM labeled "Verizon Compatible".
I would not have guessed that was the one to use...

Good detective work, repped !
Maybe that explains the varied results.. Smilie

That idea was posted when people first started noticing issues. I've activated one on AT&T & one on VZ (2 separate kits). The VZ was the listed Sim on both purchase receipts (AT&T was not shown) - but neither one seems to have activated the automatic $25 gift card (both are past 14 days).

I don't understand how TracFone is trying to claim this is an Amazon promotion.

How would Amazon know when you activated the SIM card?

OK thanks, so the answer is not so clear... . Smilie

So using the SIM in my Amazon confirm,
the phone tries to activate on Verizon.

Is the ATT SIM the correct one
for an Alcatel on Tracfone?

Sounds like you activate the phone with the SIM came with it, not the Amazon SIM since it never ask for SIM numbers.
Thats not the case. I even made sure to match the simcards with serial numbers on Amazon's order details. I ordered 4 simcards at once, and did only activate 2 on the same amazon email's for TW's (Verizon in my case) account.

Tracfone never asks for the SIM number during the online activation process, so my old Tracfones were both activated on the old SIM even though they were not in the phone during activation. I had to call Tracfone support each time and have them manually assign the new SIM to the phone's IMEI. Next time. I'll probably activate by phone with a rep ftom the outside. The only good news is that they transferred the old minutes and data balance to the new SIM for me.
