SIM and bootloader unlock (look in the Wiki section). https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/414439

Unlocking and TWRP for Sprint version: https://forum.xda-developers.com/...r-t3843824

For those looking for a glass screen protector, this is the one I am using. It works well:

The coupon code for a free battery pack has been converted into a small discount (at least on T Mobile). It's no longer free. But the discount code seems to work on a lot of accessories.

This should be combined with the other 2 threads so the same questions don't have to be asked over and over.

This is the one to buy, of all recent Moto threads. Highly underrated phone imo.
Use Screen protector!
We should see Pie update as well hopefully

T-Mobile and AT&T phones can be SIM unlocked; the former is bootloader unlockable. VZ phones aren't SIM locked anymore if I'm not mistaken.

have this phone, great phone and still super speedy... should also get pie (9.0) update, currently running 8.x via T-mobile version..

Also as other have stated, use screen protector ASAP, screen won't crack easily but will scratch extremly easy

Plastic screen on this device is a nightmare. Even a feather will scratch it, then Motorola will charge $60+shipping to put on another screen that will scratch just as easily as the last one.
