It boggles my mind how an online store could buy out a huge cashback company, change that cashback company's name to their previous online store name, then require you to access its online store by typing "/shop" to their URL. I think this is the first time I've ever seen a company do this before and I have to say... its the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I'm not sure I will ever get used to that. What idiot gave the green light to that dumb idea? Wow!

Now in terms of this deal it seems decent because of the Rode microphone and the hard case. The camera price can be had for less money with the lens, but you couldn't get those extras.

Darn sweet deal for those wanting a all around family and travel camera. For video shooters, the Rode mic is gravy for a well rated, excellent quality mic. Add in the storage case and sd card and one has a excellent setup. Note: if traveling to high humidity areas (Latin America, Florida, some southern coastal areas, etc.) alway toss in some desiccant packs to help remove any moisture. When I travel to Puerto Vallarta or Cancun areas, I place my cameras and smartphone inside a plastic zip bag every night with these packets and have never had fogging or moisture inside my cameras, lenses, etc. If you forget, just grab a cup or so of uncooked rice, put it in a sock as this will do the job too.

Also, it used to be buy.com before Rakuten bought it out and changed it to rakuten.com. It's like they really don't want people shopping there.
