4gb of ram is too small for windows 10 and people complain about Intel memory I would go with ssd hard drive

I believe non of the Walmart models of this laptop have 1080p IPS panels.

I'd be in if you can swap the memory and ssd. Looks like memory is a no go. Says max memory supported 4gb.

Yeah I agree with other posts. 4g is way too low. Not familiar with optane though... Anyone explain that?

Yeah this laptop is weird. 4gb memory? If you add in the cost to add memory and ssd this will be well over $600. Pass.

I put Optane in my buget NUC.

It caches stuff from the HDD to make start-up and launching stuff quicker.

I got in 2017 but SDD is cheap enough now to just go with that.

Apparently i7-8550U is last gen, and is actually 4% slower than the i5-8265U according to benchmarks, so yeah I'd definitely pass on this one.
