I bought an older model of this Pavilion 580-137C about a year ago (Refurbished) for 550. I upgrade with SSD and runs so fast while it is very quiet. I am loving this and consider to buy another one.

That DDR4-2400 memory will really be a bottleneck on this. Dunno how hot of a deal this is if you'll have to replace the memory to get the full performance of that processor.

Where? I see "2666"
You can also get this refurbished from Newegg at this price...a few on eBay as well.

Oh please. You are talk about nanoseconds difference. As long as you are not running multiple VM, the ram speed hardly matters when this is pair with a HDD

How is this deal compared to the below one which was active two days ago.

The one in the link has a way faster GPU and CPU.

Why would this desktop be a gaming desktop with a RX 550?

People still buy SATA SSD with NVME prices at what they are currently (and falling)? You can get 256 at $45 and 512 at $75 all the time these days.

It's really weird they'd have a really good CPU and 16GB RAM, but shove a wimpy RX 550 in there and call it a gaming PC.

Is a 1st gen Ryzen 7 still considered good?
