The HyperX Cloud Alpha Gaming Headset with Carrying Case is on sale at Costco for $69.99 + $4.99 Shipping + tax. Costco membership required.

https://www.costco.com/HyperX-Clo...60482.html

This may have been cheaper at times, but right now it appears to be a solid deal. This is The Wirecutter's Best Gaming Headset for most people: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews...g-headset/

This is my first post, please be kind if I didn't put something in the title or elsewhere that needed to be there.

These are solid but note that they don't have sidetone aka mic monitoring. This is the feature that allows you to hear yourself while speaking so that you arent screaming into your headphones.

I have a pair currently and boy do you get some pretty decent lows. I'm using them with a SoundBlaster G6 and it's very satisfying!👌🏽

Better off going with Cooler Master's MH-751 if you don't need the DAC/amp (USB 7.1 surround) or the MH-752 if you want the DAC/amp. Z Reviews compared the MH-752 side by side to the HyperX and stated the Cooler Master sounded better and was more comfortable. All these headsets are rebranded Takstars with mics. The CM is based on a newer headphone.

I would link the reviews, but they are quite lengthy so I just provided the BLUF.

Best Buy won't price match due to carrying case. Ah well, good deal nonetheless.

My Best Buy just price matched it. Perhaps the sales rep didn't look that closely.

When price matched, does it come with case?

I believe they're online only. I have never seen them in my store.
