Never read this, but the reviews are fantastic (4.5/5.0, 4800+ Amazon reviews). Always looking for excellent self-improvement books. Also, no-rush credit eligible.

I have the book. Big idea is to find routines that you don't like and replace them. The habit will exist, whether you like it or not and you can't extinguish them, but replace it with better ones. (Eg. instead of smoking, chew on a toothpick). They have some good quotes from Super Bowl winning coaches as well as understanding the reward center. Another example is Febreze. It was first made to cover up smells, so trial people stated they didn't use it for that. Instead it got popular when they cleaned the house and then sprayed the smell to be a finisher of an accomplishing task, such as a clean house. So take that for thought and improve your reward for doing something that isn't fun such as a chore. Probably applies for your kids too.

Its a great book. I would highly recommend to buy Audiobook, you will enjoy the book a lot.
