"Clamped on the guitar neck just behind the desired fret, the primary use of the capo (short for the Italian capotasto, or "head of the fretboard") is to raise the pitch of the strings by shortening the string length, enabling a guitarist to transpose a song to a higher key, and still use the original chord shapes."

I have this exact capo in black. The spring tension wears very quickly and then you get string buzzing. Maybe if your action is super low it would be okay but otherwise spend the money on a decent one.

S&S is an option for this, so at least it's got a 6-month expected lifespan!

It doesn't look like it's that great, but if you need a cheap capo, I guess it's ok.

I still do not understand, why we need to use capo?

Seems like a decent capo, especially given the price.
Fakespot gives it an A rating.

I'll bite. In for 1 in white, reminds me of a capo a stormtrooper would use.

Thanks OP

I'm kinda snobby on capos and picks. I've had cheap capos put dimples in the back of the guitar neck.

For picks, I'm addicted to Herco 75's Smilie
