I noticed Target has a few TVs on clearance. Also Target offers 10% off TVs with their Cartwheel app (excludes Samsung, LG OLED, and clearance items). Offer Expires March 16. (I was able to get the additional discount by scanning the TV box UPC barcode in the app with no problem. Receipt attached.). Note: REDcard (Target credit card) members get an additional 5% off as well.

TCL 49" 4K UHD HDR Roku Smart TV (49S405) $279.99 online. $258.98 in-store. ($233.08 with coupon) YMMV

Inventory & Price Check via Brickseek:

(Most stores around me showed 2-4 in-stock yesterday with 1 of those being the display model. Today I don't see quantities listed so this might be a hunt. The store I got it at said they had 4, but the employee only could find 1. The inventory checker is always off by me)

VIZIO D-Series 43" 1080p Full-Array LED Smart HDTV - D43f-F1 $259.99 online. $139.98 in-store.

Anyone have any thoughts about this TCL? I need a cheap but good 4k tv around 50-60 inches for the bedroom.

I have the 49S405 (Refurbished) in my spare bedroom. Guests seem to like it. I have it set up for Netflix, Pluto TV and Hulu so they have viewing options while in the bedroom. Pretty easy to configure and the remote is a Roku remote which is pretty darn simple.

What is "good" to you? It's definitely cheap, and better than the worst Samsung TV.

This TCL is one of the models many expert reviewer considers to be the best value for the money. With it being on sale, it's just bettered value

reference: if the best of the best is rated 9/10, and high end is in the 8/10 range, this was rated at 7.3/10 I believe

I have a question. Does Target help you out with getting the TV to your vehicle? I always see people hauling out big ass TVs in those small little shopping carts with no help.

The guy helping me brought the TV out on a flat cart and said he could get someone to help me, but since he was the only employee working in the department, I rolled the TV out in a small little shopping cart by myself. Smilie

I might give it a go then. We don't really watch that much tv in bed unless were trying to fall asleep so uber quality like a oled or qled doesn't matter. I just want 4k and larger since I can't see for shit on this old 2013 46" samsung its 1080p and yeah... I'm getting older I guess lol.

un46f5500afxza to be exact. https://www.samsung.com/us/suppor...500-series

I expect it to be quite a bit a step up. I don't care about apps and features since the tv updates will delete apps over they age. So long as it has a hdmi that supports the apple tv on and off feature, looks good, and I can see whats going on I'm happy. Also not expecting this to be the same as oled or qled. Just not wanting to buy junk when there's other deals at similar pricing. Still kicking myself for missing the BJs deal. 50" sharp for $150

Thanks for the feedback guys! Smilie

That said OP I am in the market for a top tier qled if you see one since your taking requests from that other guy =P nah I have a deal alert and yeah.

EDIT: In my defense of bad eye sight the tv is about 11.5 feet away from the head of the bed >.>

When I go to brickseek for the Vizio, 43", it says some stores near my might have it for $139 but when I open to target website, says $259? So what do U do, go into target and show them this post and claim that because it says $139 on brickseek, you should give it to me for that price? How do u actually get that price is my question.

Available all over the place for me. Would be $221 and change plus tax with red card. Too bad I bought one of these about 6 months ago for $275 total cost. Don't really need another at this point.

Good deal though, I love the value of these 4 series TVs.

Don't show anyone at the the store Brickseek. Just go to the store and have them scan the box and the price should be $139 (in-store). The (online) Target website price is for online orders. These discounted prices are available in store only. The 10% off coupon is also in store only. As with all Target clearance deals, your mileage may vary (YMMV). Brickseek is just a reference to see if a store has any inventory and what the price is at that individual location.

Open the Target app on your phone while in the store. It may show you the lower price then.

Does anyone know if target offers an extended warranty? I've been stalking TCL TVs and was hoping to see a price drop on Amazon soon so I can get their $14, 4 year extended warranty. Hard to beat that for a budget TV!
